Marcelli Pascal-Rodriguez

Marcelli Pascal-Rodriguez is a dual-trained provider who blends the art and science of transformation healing from the inside out through mental health, and from the outside in through aesthetics. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, AAOPM-certified Aesthetic Injector, and Certified Somatic Mind-Body Healing Practitioner, Marcelli brings a uniquely integrative approach to care.

He is the founder of Transformation Health Services, a progressive mental health practice with locations in Virginia Beach and Richmond, as well as Transformations Aesthetics & Wellness, where he helps clients feel as good as they look.

Known for his down-to-earth, intentional approach, Marcelli brings a refreshing blend of empathy, creativity, and clinical expertise to every client interaction. He specializes in collaborating with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, body image concerns, and emotional burnout, especially those who may not have felt fully understood or supported in traditional mental health settings.

As a relatable provider, Marcelli is enthusiastic about destigmatizing mental health care and making it accessible, welcoming, and real. His sessions often feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely gets it because he does. He believes healing is personal, and every client deserves to be seen, heard, and met with care and curiosity.

When he is not collaborating with clients, Marcelli enjoys writing music, traveling, and recharging near the ocean spaces that inspire the same peace and reflection he encourages in others.
Marcelli sees it as a privilege to walk alongside his clients on their healing journeys and considers every session an opportunity to help someone reconnect with their truth.

Ashley Kelly

PA-C

A passionate pediatric specialist trained at Eastern Virginia Medical School with additional fellowship experience at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. Ashley finds joy in her young patients’ resilience and humor and takes pride in being a positive influence during their formative years.

When she’s not caring for kids at our VA Beach office, Ashley treasures moments with her husband and young son, plans her next adventure, loses herself in a good book, or unwinds with a movie.

Her professional organizations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Pediatric Urgent Care.

Nicholas Jones

PA-C

Nick Jones, PA-C, is a dedicated healthcare professional trained at Eastern Virginia Medical School. With a background in men’s health, particularly testosterone replacement therapy, Nick deeply understands how biology affects mood and well-being. Passionate about personalized mental health care, he’s committed to helping his patients live their best lives. Originally from Chicago, Nick is a former college athlete and proud father of two daughters. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active.

Kenisha Reese

Kenisha Reese is a licensed clinical social worker having over 13 years of experience helping individuals and families manage mental health challenges. After earning her degrees from Shaw University and the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Kenisha has worked in a variety of settings like hospitals, community-based services, and private homes.

Kenisha believes everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life, regardless of their challenges. She works closely with her clients to provide personalized support, strategies, and solutions tailored to their needs. Using approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, Kenisha helps clients find peace, heal from trauma, and strengthen their relationships.

Kenisha enjoys spending time with family and friends outside of work, embracing new adventures, and cherishing life’s little moments.

Lianna Pevar

Resident in Counseling

Lianna Pevar is a compassionate counselor who graduated in 2022 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University. With experience working at Virginia Beach Psychiatric Hospital and various outpatient practices, Lianna has helped many adults through challenges like mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, and life changes.

Her approach is warm, non-judgmental, and focused on helping clients find their strengths. Using a mix of CBT and ACT techniques, Lianna works with clients to help them understand themselves better and navigate life’s ups and downs with confidence.

When she’s not helping others, Lianna loves photography, hiking with her puppy Khaleesi, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending quality time with her family in Connecticut.

Lisa Edmond

LCSW

Originally from North Carolina, Lisa Edmond is a compassionate, licensed clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University and a Master’s from a joint program at North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and UNC Greensboro.

Lisa is passionate about helping others overcome challenges and live their best lives. She works with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including substance abuse. Lisa’s approach is all about meeting clients where they are and guiding them to feel safe, whole, and empowered.

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with loved ones and exploring new ways to grow and learn.

Kaila Laxa

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University and a Ph.D. in Spiritual Counseling from the Institute of Metaphysical Humanistic Science. As a Filipino-American and military spouse, I understand the importance of resilience, adaptability, and strong support systems. My clinical experience includes working with individuals navigating life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, and other challenges in inpatient, outpatient and telehealth settings.

I take a collaborative, empathetic, and transparent approach to therapy. I believe that open communication and a non-judgmental space are essential for personal growth and healing. Working with individuals from diverse backgrounds is something I’m passionate about, and I strive to help my clients gain clarity, confidence, and the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.

My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and solution-focused, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and aim to support my clients in building self-awareness, resilience, and a deeper understanding of themselves.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, traveling, experimenting in the kitchen, singing, playing video games, watching movies, and hanging out with my cat.

Emilee Coburn

MSW, Clinical Social Work Resident

Emilee Coburn is a Clinical Social Work Resident who recently relocated from the West Coast. She received her Bachelor’s and Master of Social Work (MSW) from Portland State University. Emilee has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, addressing a variety of mental health and behavioral concerns. She has worked in diverse settings such as the public school system, community-based programs, and healthcare environments, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support individuals navigating challenges and build resilience.

She is especially passionate about working with adolescents, teens, young adults, parents, and families, as well as supporting neurodivergent individuals and the LGBTQ+ community. Emilee believes in a client-centered approach, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals feel supported.

In her free time, Emilee enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and her dog, Miller, and being outdoors.

Dana Edwards

Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, or challenging life transitions, Dana provides steady support, meaningful insight, and practical strategies. She helps clients regain clarity, peace, and purpose, addressing a wide range of mental health issues. She draws inspiration from 2 Corinthians 4:8 “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed” a verse that beautifully reflects her belief in the resilience of the human spirit. Dana integrates biblical principles with evidence-based psychological approaches to offer a holistic and spiritually sensitive counseling experience. Her counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique background and needs. Dana meets clients where they are, seeking to understand the life experiences that have shaped them while offering a non-judgmental and inclusive space for exploration and healing. Tressa Blythe

Tressa is a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a diverse clinical background and a deep commitment to supporting mental well-being across all stages of life.

Her experience spans cardiology, medical-surgical care, the operating room, and psychiatric services allowing her to approach each patient with a comprehensive, holistic perspective. Tressa’s healthcare journey includes the privilege of serving Veterans through trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and integrative care. She has gained valuable clinical experience at the Hampton VA Medical Center, the Barry Robinson Center, and Kempsville Behavioral Health Center, equipping her to deliver individualized, evidence-based support to those in need.

Tressa’s connection to the Veteran community is both professional and personal her husband is a disabled veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division. This personal connection further fuels her passion for serving military families with empathy and respect.

She holds a special interest in women’s and children’s mental health, believing that emotional wellness is the cornerstone of strong families and thriving communities. Her work is grounded in empathy, clinical insight, and a deep understanding of life transitions, helping patients navigate challenges with strength and resilience.

Outside of her professional role, Tressa is a devoted wife and mother of four. She finds joy in spending quality time with her family, exploring new adventures, and embracing the serenity of coastal living. The beach is her sanctuary a place where she finds peace, balance, and creative inspiration.

Desaray Garland

Having worked as an in-home counselor supporting children and families sparked my passion for mental health and ultimately led me to become a therapist. It is my goal to provide clients with a safe, supportive environment where they can navigate their thoughts and emotions, develop healthier habits, and develop effective coping strategies.

One of my core beliefs is that while we can’t always control what life throws our way, we absolutely can learn to respond with greater wisdom, strength, and self-compassion. My approach is person-centered and holistic, designed to meet the unique needs of each person I work with.

I provide therapy for children, adults, couples, and families, drawing on a diverse skill set to support clients through a variety of concerns. My areas of specialty include parenting support, prenatal and postpartum anxiety and depression, general anxiety and mood disorders, relationship conflicts, self-esteem, life transitions, and PTSD.

Chaniece Rumph

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 13 years of nursing experience, dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, women’s mental health, PTSD, trauma, and ADHD. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their challenges, find relief from symptoms, and work toward greater balance and well-being. Using both psychotherapy and medication management, I work alongside you, aiming to provide evidence-based care that fosters resilience, clarity, and healing.
 
My own journey through postpartum depression has shaped not only my professional path but also the way I connect with clients. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of mental health, I approach each session with compassion, empathy, and understanding. I believe in tailoring care to each person’s unique needs, circumstances, and goals whether that means finding healthier coping strategies, improving focus, or building stronger relationships. My style is collaborative and patient-centered, ensuring that clients feel supported, heard, and empowered in their healing process.
 
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. These moments help me stay grounded and connected to the things that bring joy and balance to daily life. I carry this same belief while practicing that nurturing both mind and body is essential for living a fulfilling, meaningful life. Together, we can create a path forward that supports not just symptom relief, but long-term emotional health and well-being.

Caitlin Weilbaecher

DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Caitlin Weilbaecher, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner passionate about helping patients improve their mental health and overall well-being. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Louisiana State University and completed advanced training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Old Dominion University. With experience in primary care, otolaryngology, and male hormone replacement therapy, Caitlin understands how physical and mental health are closely connected, and she brings this insight to every patient she cares for.

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Caitlin provides compassionate, evidence-based care through a collaborative, individualized approach. She works alongside her patients to restore balance, build resilience, and support lasting wellness, with clinical interests in mood disorders, anxiety, and the integration of mental and physical health. Outside of practice, Caitlin continues to grow professionally and advocates for accessible, high-quality mental health care for all.

Melita Wilson-Primus

A compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Melita is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s most challenging moments. With expertise in depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more, she offers personalized, evidence-based care, always treating clients as unique individuals on their path to healing.

Outside of her work, Melita loves spending time with loved ones, finding inspiration in life’s little joys, and embracing the powerful words of Nelson Mandela: “It always seems impossible until it is done.” She can’t wait to support you in reaching your mental health goals!

Cheryl is a warm and compassionate psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who earned her degree from Virginia Commonwealth University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at James Madison University. With a strong background in high-risk obstetrics and surgical care, Cheryl is incredibly passionate about perinatal mental health, always striving to provide exceptional care to every patient!

When she’s not in the office, Cheryl loves spending quality time with her husband and son, whipping up delicious meals, tending to her garden, and enjoying outdoor adventures.

With over 10 years of experience, Feitima is a warm and dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in helping individuals navigate mental health challenges with care and compassion. She earned her MSN from the University of South Alabama and believes in providing holistic, evidence-based care that supports every aspect of a person’s well-being. When she’s not at our Richmond office, Feitima loves spending time with her family, exploring new wellness practices, and enjoying a good book or movie. Brittney Clark

Brittney is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in 2011 and has worked with patients in various patient care settings with her primary focus being Women’s Health. Brittney received a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from George Mason University in May of 2020. She is presently working towards completing a post-master’s certificate to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) through Virginia Commonwealth University, specializing in the treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and prenatal mood and anxiety disorders. Brittney is passionate about ongoing education, mental health advocacy, and creating safe, supportive environments for healing. She combines clinical expertise with a holistic, patient-centered approach, prioritizing collaborative care and personalized treatment plans. Tierra Lucas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly a decade of experience in the field. She is dedicated to fostering a therapeutic environment where adult clients feel safe, respected, and empowered. Tierra works with individuals ages 18 and up, providing support to those navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Her approach is grounded in authenticity, accountability, and compassion. She draws from evidence-based practices and prioritizes meeting clients where they are, tailoring care to each person’s unique needs and goals. 

Tierra believes in being direct yet supportive, helping clients build insight, recognize patterns, and move toward lasting change. Lois Ntiamoh

Lois is a warm and compassionate, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years of experience caring for individuals across all stages of life. She has supported adolescents with autism, adults managing depression and anxiety, and older adults living with dementia. As the lead psychiatric NP who spearheaded the launch of an inpatient psychiatric consult program at a Virginia hospital, Lois brings both clinical expertise and leadership experience to her practice. She believes in meeting every client exactly where they are, offering inclusive, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based care designed around each person’s unique needs and goals.

She specializes in treating a wide range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, insomnia, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric illnesses. Lois takes a collaborative approach, working alongside clients to develop personalized treatment strategies that feel both comfortable and effective. Known for her patience, empathy, and ability to create a safe space, she ensures that clients feel truly heard, respected, and supported throughout their care.

At the heart of her practice is the belief that mental health is just as important as physical health. Guided by this philosophy, Lois blends psychopharmacology with counseling, psychoeducation, and whole-person strategies to address both mind and body. Marie Evans

Marie Evans is a dedicated mental health professional with over 25 years of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and those healing from complex trauma. She began her career as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and as a special education teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Virginia Tech, a Master’s in Special Education (M.Ed.) from Regent University, and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Liberty University. Now as a Clinical Social Work Resident, Marie specializes in Somatic Psychotherapy, HypnoBreathwork, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), offering a holistic, body-centered approach to healing that helps clients reconnect with themselves and move beyond traditional talk therapy.

Passionate about the power of feeling emotions and sensations in the body, Marie guides clients to release trauma, break self-sabotaging patterns, and cultivate emotional resilience. In addition to ART and HypnoBreathwork, Marie specializes in inner child healing, somatic healing, and intensive healing sessions designed for deep, lasting transformation. Marie works with individuals creating a safe, inclusive space for first responders, survivors of abuse, and members of the poly and kink communities.

Outside of the therapy room, Marie is a proud mom to three grown children who are her world and to Ellie, the beloved German Shepherd who holds the title of “baby of the family.” In addition, Marie enjoys researching, traveling, and being in nature.
