MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT

Our medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program serves individuals (at least age 18) with opioid use disorders by providing outpatient-based services to help reduce opioid use, opioid overdose deaths, and transmission of infectious diseases.

To help people recover from opioid use disorders, the MAT program offers a holistic person-centered approach by providing prescription medications (Suboxone, Zubsolv, etc.) in combination with mental health and behavioral therapies. These medications work by providing relief from opioid withdrawal symptoms while reducing cravings for continued opioid use.

The multidisciplinary MAT team offers a combination of recovery services and supports including medication management, counseling/therapy, mental health services, relapse prevention, overdose education, and care coordination to address the needs of individuals with opioid use disorders. The MAT clinic also collaborates with local community resources to provide additional support to individuals receiving care.
